Welcome to the Ruster Restaurant in Lagundo near Merano.

A unique dining experience is waiting for you at the Ruster Restaurant in Lagundo. There are different “Stube” offering space for 10 to 70 people such as the Josef Stube, the Kamin Stube with fireplace, the Romantikstube, the Torggl and the cellar. In addition there are two partly covered gardens: the Palms Garden with 180 seats and the Beer Garden with 60 seats.

Dining experiences

The ancient South Tyrolean farmhouse of the 12th century was renovated according to its old style and opened as a restaurant in 1977. Since then it has been restored and enlarged every now and then.

We offer a wide selection of dishes, hopefully enough to satisfy every diner! Why not try local dishes and the delicious traditional cuisine of South Tyrol? What about a superb dinner in the intimate and inviting ambience of the typical “stube” or in the beer garden? Our chef cooks impeccably executed menus of local and international dishes that are served in relaxed surroundings.

Obviously the dinner is complemented by an excellent wine list or by the most exquisite beers. Enjoy dining in a different way and remember Virginia Wolf’s words: "One cannot think well, love well, sleep well if one has not dined well”...
